For a seventh straight year, UAlbany and the Northeastern New York chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are teaming up to raise money and awareness in the quest to find a cure for CF.

More than $22,000 has been raised in the six years of the UAlbany Coaches Cure CF game and every donation stays local to the northeast chapter. On top of that, head coach Will Brown get the benefit of comfort on the sidelines as they will sport sweatsuits. Adding to that comfort, the Great Danes are 5-1 in the Coaches Cure CF game.

When you arrive at SEFCU Arena on Saturday afternoon for the 3pm tip against Maine, you'll find a table set up in the lobby to provide fans with more information on CF and how you can join the fight.

There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. It is a progressive genetic disease affecting 30,000 Americans.
