The US men's soccer team is on their way to another Gold Cup.  The last time they won it was in 2007 when they faced Mexico.  In 2009 Mexico beat the USA for the Gold Cup by a score of 5-0.  It's redemption time for the USA.

Yesterday they beat Panama for the fourth straight time to advance to the final.  The score was 1-0.  Landon Donovan passed the ball to Clint Dempsy in the 77th minute of play for the score.  One thing that can be said about Team USA this time aroudn is that they are focused.  They have shut out their last 3 opponents since losing to Panama 2-1 back on June 11.

The Gold Cup final between the USA and Mexico will take place on Saturday from the Rose Bowl in California.
