Howie Rose has called some of the biggest moments in New York sports history and he will now have another prominent place in the state's archives. The voice of the New York Mets will be inducted into the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday, November 3rd.

Rose grew up as a Mets fan and now he holds the title of Voice of the New York Mets as the radio play-by-play broadcaster. His iconic calls include "Put it in the books", something every Mets fan hopes to hear - it signifies a win for New York.

Rose will be in the Capital Region for the induction ceremony in Albany and he joined Big Board Sports to discuss his career and the Hall of Fame.
