The Golden State Warriors won their first NBA Title in 40 years, but are they the favorite to win the title in 2016?

For the first time in four decades, the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Championship. Led by the regular season's MVP Stephon Curry and the Finals MVP Andre Iguodala the Warriors finished off The Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 in Game 6. Despite not having All-Stars Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving, LeBron James still was able to will the Cavs to the brink of the franchise's first NBA Title. With the impending return of Love and Irving, Las Vegas lists the Cleveland Cavaliers as the favorites to win the 2016 NBA Title. The Westgate Las Vegas Sports book opened with Cleveland as a 9-4 to win the title. The next most likely to win the title following the Cavaliers are the Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder at 5-1. The New York Knicks are listed at 80-1 to win the NBA title but they are not the longest shot listed. That distinction goes to the Charlotte Hornets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers who are all listed at 200-1.
