The NCAA tournament field for college basketball will be announced thirty six days from today. After a wild day of upsets, including at least eight nationally ranked top twenty five teams losing, the madness of March is already beginning. In a matchup between two five teams in the Big Ten conference, the Michigan State Spartans needed a Miles Bridges three pointer to defeat the Purdue Boilermakers, 68-65. ESPN's "College Gameday" crew was in attendance, but it was not enough for the second ranked Virginia Cavaliers. The Tony Bennett led Cavaliers lost just their second game of the season, this time to rival Virginia Tech 61-60 in overtime. Earlier this week, the currently number one ranked Villanova Wildcats lost to the St.John's Red Storm in a Big East conference game. Plus earlier in the week nationally ranked Duke, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Oklahoma and Kentucky all lost as well. After a wild weekend of college basketball, do you have an idea of who the best team in the country is? Let us know below.
