The Chicago Cubs are appearing in the World Series for the first time since the 1940s. One of the legendary figures in Cubs history is broadcaster Harry Carey. Carey, a multiple Emmy award winner spent sixteen seasons as the voice of Cubs. Carey gained national notoriety both for his unabashed homersim and his singing of "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during home games for Chicago. This is not the first time Ferrell has appeared as Caray on a late night talk show. One year earlier, Ferrell appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman.
