The Grand Slam will not happen this season golf season, after Zach Johnson wins the British Open in a 4-hole playoff against Louis Oosthuizen, and Marc Leishman. While many were hoping for a ending with Jordan Spieth winning his third straight major, let's not overlook how amazing Zach Johnson played.

Johnson is the first player in golf history to win his first two majors at Augusta National and St. Andrews. Johnson had to sit on the sideline after he finished his round before his playoff competitors.

Jordan Spieth bogeyed the 17th hole Monday at St. Andrews, then left a putt from the Valley of Sin at the 18th just left of the hole to miss out on a playoff at the British Open.

Spieth finished the final-round with a 69, which included a big birdie make from 50 feet at the 15th, coming after he had an awful four-putt double bogey at the eighth hole, and finished at 14 under.

The next major is the  PGA Championship that will take place from August 13–16 at Whistling Straits on the Straits Course in Kohler, Wisconsin.
