Alex Rodriguez Get’s Applause On Opening Day Ceremony

New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez is in the starting lineup this afternoon against the Blue Jays as DH. This will be his first regular season game since September 25, 2013. Rodriguez hit .286 with three homers and a .924 OPS in 18 spring training games. With all of his off-season issues, year long suspension, no one knew how the fans would react to the 39 year-olds return. Per usual, the Yankee fans showed nothing but class, by giving Rodriguez a standing ovation.

Many believe that Rodriguez will be the Yankees primary designated hitter, with occasional looks at first base, and third base.
