As a lifelong Capital Region sports fan who has just so happened to be in radio for most of my professional life the chance to “join the Team” pun intended was the kind of offer I’ve been dreaming of. Growing up a Yankees, Knicks and Raiders fan(a punishment I share with my beautiful daughter Ella) I’ve felt the pain and success that comes with diehard fandom. Luckily for me my friends that love the Giants have adopted me so I have a reason to watch football after the Raiders have been eliminated EARLY every season for the last 10 plus years. I’m excited to talk sports and enjoy multiple happy hours with all the sports fans of the Cap Region…even the Red Sox fans.

Obi Toppin Got Robbed! [VIDEO]
The NBA All-Star game might actually be my least favorite of all the All-Star games BUT I love the Slam-Dunk Contest. I get that the All-Star game is nothing more than an exhibition but it's just so far from what I like about the NBA while still kinda looking like a game. Meanwhile, the Skills Challenge and the Dunk Contest are clear and pure exhibitions. It's all about the fun and exciting facets of the game. So when I see how badly last night's was screwed up it sucks. Knicks Rookie Obi Toppin should have won that contest!

Tom Brady Still Owns The Jets And Proves It On The Late Late Show With James Corden [VIDEO]
It's been two decades of Tom Brady owning the New York Jets. Just when you think it's over because the now seven-time Super Bowl Champion is no longer in the AFC let alone the AFC East, it's not. Last night on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" Brady beat the Jets yet again with a well-timed reply to Corden's question as to whether or not the Late Night host could play in QB in the NFL.
Bills Miss Out As JJ Watt Agrees To Sign With Cardinals
Just hours ago former Houston Texans star JJ Watt teased that he'd be playing in Super Bowl 56 as a member of either the Browns, Packers, or Bills in his Peloton Bio. That turned out to be a pretty big troll job as Watt has now taken to Twitter breaking the news that he is joining his former teammate DeAndre Hopkins in Arizona with the Cardinals.

It's coming down to the wire in the MAAC! With just four regular-season games left for the Siena Saints, every game matters as they try to win their second straight regular-season MAAC title. Voice Of Jets Thinks Sam Darnold Will Get His Chance In New York [INTERVIEW]
The New York Jets are beginning the Robert Saleh era. The new head coach was highly sought after and chose the Jets. It still feels like this might really be the beginning of the Joe Douglas era too. Even though Douglas has been the Jets general manager since right after the NFL Draft in 2019 this feels like the first year he's really able to make the moves he wants to. What move will Douglas and Saleh make at quarterback? Will the move be no move at all and to give Sam Darnold one more chance to prove he's the right man for the Jets? Voice of the Jets Bob Wischusen thinks Darnold could get that chance.
Knicks Are Playing So Well Coaches Are Throwing Tantrums [VIDEO]
Any New York Knicks fan will tell you that we've been waiting A LONG TIME to feel good feelings about our favorite NBA team. So even though we know this isn't a team that's going to be playing for the NBA title any time soon, I'm pretty pumped they're winning games. Not only are the Knicks winning the games they're supposed to win, they're crushing bad teams so bad coaches are throwing temper tantrums on the court.
UAlbany’s Will Brown Still Has Some ‘Firsts’ Left In His Career [INTERVIEW]
As the University of Albany Men's Basketball team prepares to face NJIT in the first round of the America East tournament head coach Will Brown sounds prepared and calm. When we spoke to Will Brown before this season began it was clear that he was excited to get his team on the court for a few reasons. Obviously, with the COVID-19 pandemic Coach was just happy to play ball but he also gets to coach his son Jackson Brown this year. When you've coached as long as Brown has there aren't a lot of "firsts" left out there so coaching his son for the first time clearly was fun for him.
