The 2017 class for the National Baseball Hall of Fame was announced Thursday. President Jeff Idelson announced the names of Jeff Bagwell, Tim Raines and Ivan Rodriguez. He did so in a quick and timely manner. The class is missing Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. Does the President think it should? Does he think any provisions need to be made if and when they do get in? IT's a tough time for people that guard the integrity of the game and those of us that simply want to watch sports again and not wonder who's cheating?

It's always great to talk to Idelson! He's great and his love of the Baseball Hall of Fame is clear in every word he speaks. He's a great ambassador for the game we all lovingly call America's pastime.
