As of Friday, a misdemeanor battery charge against Kromer was dropped from the Florida state attorney's office as the accusers parents had requested the charges to be dropped.

That probably helped the Bills and the NFL come to their decision after keeping a close eye on the incident that happened on July 11th when Kromer allegedly punched a boy and threatened to kill his family during a dispute over beach chairs. Kromer's son, Zachary, had also been accused of putting his hands on the boys.

Through a statement from President Russ Brandon, the Bills explained that they did not act alone on the decision:

“We worked in conjunction with the NFL on this matter and we are highly supportive of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy that holds all NFL and club employees to a higher standard."We look forward to Coach Kromer rejoining the Bills organization at Training Camp.”
