C.C. Sabathia Out For At Least 15 More Days

The news on Yankees ace C.C. Sabathia hasn't gotten any better.

On Sunday, Sabathia returned from seeing specialist Doctor James Andrews in Alabama. Joe Girardi after the double-header wasn't exactly optimistic.

"I think he’s going to see the doctor tomorrow," said Girardi. "They’re going to try to get a game plan, how he moves forward from here.

"Is it a 15 day DL? It’s going to be more than that, I can tell you that. When we get him back, I don’t think any of us know."

With Sabathia's issue being a degenerative condition in the knee that has bothered him since early this month, Girardi said that the knowledge of a timetable on this injury is unknown.
