Closer’s Saratoga Selections (August 14th)

As we past the midway point of the meet, the trainer standings are living up to the hype as local trainer Chad Brown has a one win lead over Todd Pletcher. "I think he's the favorite" said Pletcher in the beginning of the meet. Which many agreed with but Pletcher knew his young crop would make this difference and they have begun to show in the winners circle this past week. All the standings are close, even the jockey standings between Irad and Jose Ortiz are within a couple wins of each other. Exciting races are set to continue as we close out week 4, good luck!
