After missing out on Hue Jackson (who agreed to become the head coach of the Browns today), who is the lead candidate for the New York Giants head coaching job?

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com joined Levack and Andrew Williams at 5:15 this afternoon to answer that, and he said that he thinks the No. 1 guy is former Syracuse and Bills head coach Doug Marrone.

Marrone coached the Bills to a 15-17 record in two seasons, but he did go 9-7 in his second year in Buffalo. He left on his own.

If Marrone falls out, Raanan says that Ben McAdoo, the current Giants OC, is the number two guy in line.

The Giants are trying to replace Tom Coughlin, who resigned after 12 years in New York.

Raanan also spoke about the owners meetings in Houston, which helped determine the relocation of the St. Louis Rams to Los Angeles. The Rams will play in LA next season.
