ESPN's John Buccigross says there are questions surrounding the stability of the Rangers forwards. Should the fan base have faith that New York could pull off a trade this season?

"It’s hard to make trades in all sports these days, but especially in the NHL, with the hard salary cap," said Buccigross, to "Armen and Levack, on 104.5 The Team.

"As it goes on, and you get more cap room, it’s a little more easier and then you have teams looking to sell (Columbus, Carolina). Are there veterans on that team that they’re looking to move? Columbus could be one of those teams.

"Some of these guys make tons of money and it’s tough to match it up but there are some teams that aren’t going to make the playoffs that you could possibly pluck a forward and get your team ready for that playoff grind."
