Fan Uses Eye Drops While Wearing Sunglasses [VIDEO]

It’s definitely a sign that you’re getting old if you try to use eye drops while still wearing sunglasses.

This video is full of fail.  I mean, it’s chock full of fail.  Let me count the ways; 1) This guy is trying to use eye drops while still wearing sunglasses.  2) This guy is trying to use eye drops while still wearing sunglasses during “God Bless America.”  3) This guy is trying to use eye drops while still wearing sunglasses during “God Bless America,” and happened to get caught on video!  That’s an epic-fail trifecta.

Why this guy couldn’t wait until after “God Bless America” to pop in some eye drops is beyond me.  Seriously, I’m sure this guy’s eye wasn’t on fire.  Wait until after the song ends.  Show a little respect, dude.  Maybe he’s not a big John Popper or Blues Traveler fan.  Either way, you have to wait until “God Bless America” is finished to pop the drops.  But hey, if you don’t realize that everything is much darker (because you’re wearing freakin’ sunglasses), I’m not sure this guy is the coldest beer in the fridge to begin with.  Just sayin’.

This guy has to be embarrassed about this whole fiasco.  It made me think about some of my embarrassing moments.  No, I’ve never accidentally poured eye drops into my sunglasses before, but when I first started doing sports talk radio in the Capital Region, I mispronounced “Adirondack.”  Apparently, this area is fond of names that are four or five syllables in length.  I messed up saying Adirondack.  It turns out there is a whole mountain range.  Also, there are approximately 2.5 billion businesses with the name “Adirondack” around here.  Yeesh, not my best moment.
