Behind the explosiveness of the red hot Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks have now won five straight games.  Last night they beat the Timberwolves 100-98.

Even on a night when Jeremy Lin was off, he still managed to knock down 20 points.  The Knicks looked like they were in trouble against Minnesota, but they were able to hang in for a 100-98 win, extending their win streak to five.  Landry Fields would add 19 points, Steve Novak 15, and Iman Shumpert would put up another 20.  More of a team effort last night, and with the stars out, the young guys are shining.

Kevin Love kept the Timberwolves in the fight with 32 points and 21 rebounds, but the Knicks had to much fight in them.  Now the Knicks can take a breath with a few days off.  They will face Toronto on Tuesday night from Toronto before returning home for five games.
