Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Junior mentioned that NFL players are underpaid and "should get more money" earlier this week. Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz reacted to Beckham's sentiment.

"We get paid less than other sports and that is not a surprise," said Schwartz, to Armen and Levack on 104.5 The Team. "We have more players and there is more risk to us being injured and kind of fizzle out.

"I think he and all players including himself would agree that guaranteed contracts are something we would accept. I know it’s tough and that is something that next round of negotiations will get us guaranteed contracts.

"What he was saying in his own words is that we want guaranteed contracts. I think eventually it will happen and it’d be nice if it would but right now I’m not complaining about how much I make."

Beckham actually does have a guaranteed $10.4 million contract over four years with the Giants that he signed last year entering his rookie season.

Giants lineman Geoff Schwartz is with Armen and Levack every Tuesday at 5:15pm EST on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio.
