“Gerrit Cole Is The Best Pitcher On The Planet” – Buster Olney [AUDIO]

ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney has been pretty lukewarm at best on the return of baseball. With less than a week to go before the 60 game season begins, Buster seems almost giddy that the league will actually at least start. He's still not a believer in the World Series being played but progress is being made. One thing Buster is positive about, or should I say one person he's positive about is Gerrit Cole.

Buster Olney said that the "Best pitcher on the planet" is New York Yankees' ace, Gerrit Cole! Obviously this is not what New York Mets' fans want to hear considering how great Jacob deGrom is but TOUGH! Buster LOVES to keep my Yankees love in check so there's no way he would say it on my show unless he 100% believed it. The good news for fans of "The other" New York baseball team is Buster seems to really believe in the Mets this year. The team is at least in the mix to win the National League East.
