One of the best wide receivers to ever play the game is ready to claim that a Giants playmaker might be one of the best players to ever play the game as well?

Former Raiders wideout Tim Brown will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this August. When asked if there's a current NFL wide receiver that looks most like him? He hit home, New York Sports fan.

"Odell Beckham Jr. is probably a freakish type athlete," said Brown, to Armen and Levack, on 104.5 The Team. "[He's] probably not as fast as I was but obviously has some incredible intangibles about him and some things that I couldn’t possibly do. I’ve never been able to pull off a three-finger catch before.

"His route running ability and ability to make plays after the catch is what I love about this kid. I love watching him play. I think he’s super exciting and he’s a guy that I can’t wait to watch him play this year."

Beckham hasn't even began his second year in the NFL and is already being compared as one of the greats. So what advice to Brown have for the LSU product to help block it all out?

"Don’t change what you’ve been doing. Stay normal and keep plowing away. If he can do that, he can come back and have just as good of year as he had the year before.

Armen and Levack are weekdays 3 to 7p ET on 'Your Home for New York Sports', 104.5 The Team.
