As you can see above, Shenendehowa guard Kevin Huerter has received an offer from Notre Dame. He also has an offer in hand from Vanderbilt of the SEC.

I have confirmed both reports with Clint Jackson, recruiting expert at Rivals.com. Jackson added that Huerter also has an offer from Clemson.

The two schools are just two of several major Division 1 powers to offer the lanky point guard. He's already gotten offers from Siena, UAlbany, Texas Tech, Penn State, Miami, Marquette, Maryland, and Davidson, among others.

Huerter helped lead Shen to the New York State Class AA championship this season. He was named to the New York State Class AA Second Team.

His court vision, length, shooting ability from the outside and ability to defend the perimeter are just a few of the qualities that have made Huerter so attractive on the recruiting trail.

Syracuse and Michigan have also checked in on Huerter. Jackson told me that he thinks Syracuse is an attractive option to Huerter if they make an offer.
