Is Rex Ryan’s obsession with the Patriots too much?

“I think it might be,” said Shalise Manza Young of Yahoo! Shutdown Corner. “It might be detrimental to him.

“His first couple of years it was pretty even and it seemed like he had something figured out with Brady. Since then, he’s lost nine of the 10 times.”

On Monday, the first-year Bills head coach was asked about his dozen plus penalties against the Pats in Sunday’s loss, and Rex pointed the finger to the other side of the field:

"They outplayed us, they outcoached us, they outdid whatever," Ryan told the media. "But there's different ways of chatting and of all that type of stuff, too. Let's face it: New England is not exactly the Boy Scouts of America. All right? So you can say what you want, but the tape doesn't lie either."

“The jab at the Patriots saying they weren’t the boy scouts, you need to look at your own team,” said Manza Young. “They had 14 or 15 penalties on Sunday, that’s just undisciplined play. You can’t have that in this league. You can’t have 100 yards in penalties and expect you’re going to do that.”
