ESPN released their final Heisman Watch of the season and a new leader is at the top spot. Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey leaped over Alabama running Derrick Henry for the top spot. ESPN's Heisman Watch features ten of the network's college football experts votes ranked first through fifth. McCaffrey secured six of the possible ten first place votes while Henry received three. Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson received the other first place vote. In the overall points standings, McCaffrey finished with the most total points at fourty six while Henry finished with fourty and Watson claimed thirty one. All three of those players will be in attendance for this year's ceremony in New York City. The final players also receiving votes in the Heisman watch included Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield with twenty points. Florida State running back Dalvin Cook in fifth place with six points. Navy Quarterback Keenan Reynolds in sixth place with four points. In seventh place LSU Leonard Fournette received three total points.
