Baseball purist guy cracks me up.  Some baseball purists are bent out of shape because interleague games in MLB will occur all season long next year.  This is not a big deal at all.

The Houston Astros will be moving from the NL Central to the AL West beginning in 2013.  There will be six divisions each comprised of five teams.  MLB realignment means that there will be interleague games throughout the entire season.  Some baseball purists completely oppose this change by Major League Baseball.

Each team will only play 20 interleague games per season.  An MLB season is 162 games long.  Why fans are making a mountain out of an interleague molehill is beyond me.  I just went on and on today on "The Noe Show" about interleague play still being exciting throughout the season although there will be at least one interleague series throughout the entire season.  Yankees vs. Mets will be a compelling matchup at any point in the season.  There are many other interesting interleague matchups that will still stand out despite the fact that interleague games will take place throughout the season.
