UAlbany men's basketball coach Will Brown has announced that guard Peter Hooley will start in the NCAA tournament against Oklahoma on Friday (7:27 p.m.).

"He (Hooley) is going to start tomorrow," Brown told WNYT. We're going to see a lot of pressure early and often and we've got to go with experience and we need another ballhandler on the floor."

Hooley hasn't started since his return to the team in February, but this is a logical move. The Danes need all of their best players on the floor as much as possible if they are going to pull the upset.

Hooley's experience and scoring ability will be key to the Danes' success on Friday night. His 13.7 ppg is second on the Danes. UAlbany will need all of that and more if they are to win.

Hooley's insertion into the lineup probably spells the return of Dallas Ennema to the bench. Ennema's long-range shooting ability can still be a big weapon for the Danes though in this one.
