Randy Moss accomplished a ton in his NFL career, but he'll be partially remembered for what he wasn't able to accomplish.

Randy Moss made several jaw-dropping plays in his Hall of Fame career.  He was a superfreak on the field when he wanted to be.  The problem with Moss was that he didn't always have the desire to give a full effort.

He loafed.  He relaxed.  He simply took plays off.  Effort should always be a given, especially for a professional athlete who's making millions of dollars.  With Moss, it simply wasn't.

Moss will be remembered primarily for being an absolute beast on the football field.  He was the best deep threat in NFL history.  He had 153 touchdown receptions in his prolific career.  However, Moss will also be remembered as a guy who simply played when he wanted to play.
