Earlier this week we learned learned that Albany Academy sophomore star Hameir Wright had already received scholarship offers from George Washington and Cincinnati.

Yesterday, we learned that George Washington was looking in the Capital Region once again. According to the Shen Basketball twitter account, junior guard Kevin Huerter has received an offer from the Colonials as well.

The lanky sharp-shooter helped lead the Plainsmen the Class AA state title this season. He projects well to the next level due to his shooting ability, court vision, length, size, and high basketball IQ.

He has also received interest from Davidson, UAlbany and Creighton -- among others.

This just proves that Section II basketball has a plethora of individual talent. Joe Cremo of Scotia (UAlbany) was the area's best player this season, but Huerter and Wright both appear poised to take over that distinction in 2015-16.

The rest of the country is taking notice, you should too.
