Siena Womans Soccer Player Honored

Congratulations to Siena Saints  Taylor Booth who was honored on Monday for her recent stellar play.

The sophomore goalie has been red hot lately with back to back shutouts recorded. For her fine work she was named MAAC defensive player of the week.

All told Booth went 2-1 in the last week of play with 15 saves. Her goals against was a sparkling 0.33 for the week including shutouts in order of  Vermont and Temple.

In a 4 game recent stretch Booth notched 3 shutouts and stopped 22 of 23 shots.

Booth will lead her squad into conference play this coming Friday at home against Niagara  University in the MAAC opener for both teams. The contest begins at 7.00pm.
