A heart breaking loss by Siena College women's soccer, the team has been eliminated from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament.

Rider got a very late score to eliminate Siena 2-1 last Friday. Abi Cottam of Rider scored with just six seconds remaining to give Rider the win. Just seconds before, Cottam broke in alone but missed the net.

Rider dominated the offensive zone, outshooting Siena 30-12 overall. Despite the onslaught the game was scoreless after the first half. The teams exchanged early second half goals, with Rider scoring first. Jennifer Meier broke the scoreless duel only 1:18 into the second half. However Siena quickly got even again, just five minutes later on a nice header by Kelly Ristoff off the feed from Taylor D'Alfonso.

Siena College closed out the season with a match Sunday against Loyola. The Saints after being eliminated on Friday have a record of 6-10-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the MAAC conference.
