The New York Giants have brought back safety Stevie Brown only days after being released. The Giants made a contract offer to the free agent, but he opted to sign with the Houston Texans instead. The Texans decided to part ways with Brown on Friday after signing with the team in May.

The sixth year player has had an up and down career so far. The Giants will to get the  breakout 2012 Brown, who had 76 tackles and eight interceptions. Not the post torn ACL  Brown who only had 38 tackles, and no interceptions for the Giants in 2014.

The G-men find themselves with not many choices at the position after Bennett Jackson, and Justin Currie went out with season ending surgery.
