Several Yankees And Mets Make All-Star Rosters

Mets Pelfrey Out for Season, Will Need Tommy John Surgery

It was announced on Tuesday that New York Mets Pitcher Mike Pelfrey was placed on the disabled list with Elbow Inflamation. It turns out it was much worse as an MRI revealed a partial tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in Pelfrey's right elbow.
