Novak Djokovic Beats Rafael Nadal To Win US Open

It has been quite the year for Novak Djokovic.  This year he has won the Australian Open and Wimbledon.  He can add US Open to his resume after beating Rafael Nadal yesterday to solidify his #1 world ranking.

Nadal Cramps Up in Post Game Press Conference

Rafael Nadal won his third round match today at the US Open against David Nalbandian of Argentina 7-6,6-1,7-5. He had some cramping issues during his match, but that was just the prelude to what would happen after the match ended.

Novak Djokovic Wins Wimbledon Championship

Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal on Sunday to earn his first ever Wimbledon men's singles championship. He defeated Nadal in four sets going 6-4,6-1,1-6,6-3. This was Djokovic's fifth straight head-to-head victory over Nadal. The Wimbledon victory propels Djokovic to #1 in the world men's tennis rankings.

Nadal Wins Sixth French Open

Rafael Nadal won his Sixth French Open Grand Slam title this morning at Roland Garros. He once again took on Roger Federer in the championship match, and for the fourth time, defeated him on his favorite clay playing surface.
