Talking Section II Baseball W/ the Prep Baseball Report

Section II baseball season is in full force and as we move through the month of May, we start to see teams making moves toward hopeful sectional and state titles.

Today we spoke with Dan Cevette of the Prep Baseball Report: New York to break down Section II. Cevette will join us every Monday in May to get the pulse of Section II.

We spoke about the extreme talent in the area, headlined by Garrett Whitley (Niskayuna) and Ian Anderson (Shen), as well as what makes the area's best team (Shen) so good.

Cevette also said that he doesn't think there is a team anywhere in the state that "has the sheer talent that they do."

Furthermore, we found out from Cevette some players to watch that may be flying under the radar, including Jack Grabek of Guilderland and Dan Hobbs of Saratoga.
