Lightning secure a victory in the first game of the series in the Windy City

The Tampa Bay Lighting took a two games to one lead in the Stanley Cup Finals with a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Both teams were tied at the end of first period with one goal a piece and that continued up until the third period. Both teams traded goals within just fifteen seconds of each other four mintues into the 3rd period. The Blackhawks struck with a goal by Brandon Saad. The Lightning answered back with Ondrej Palat finding the back of the net to even the game at 2 a piece. The eventual game winner came with less than four minutes to go in the game with Victor Hedman and Ryan Callahan setting up Cedric Pacqueete for the decisive goal. Ben Bishop saved 36 shots for the Eastern Conference Champions. The series resumes Wednesday night at 8pm in the United Center.
