Terrell Owens underwent surgery within the last month to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament.  Interestingly, the surgery was not made public.

According to sources familiar to Owens' injury, the wide receiver has undergone surgery to repair a torn ACL.  It's unclear how Owens suffered the injury, possibly during a taping of his reality TV show or during a personal workout, but Owens will likely be out until November or December.

What's interesting about TO's injury is that it was kept under wraps.  Noted orthopedist Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery.  Terrell's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, issued a denial when asked about the possible injury last month by ESPN.  Owens didn't say anything about his own injury.

I won't jump to conclusions and say that Owens and Rosenhaus were trying to pull a fast one on an NFL team by covering up the injury, but I won't call you crazy if you think that was a possibility.
