After a 36 point performance, Kevin Durant took home the MVP at the 2012 NBA all-star game.  He didn't do it all on his own, as he had some big help from Kobe Bryant in the Wests 152-149 win on Sunday night.  Bryant would add 27 points to Durant's 36 as they were able to hold off the very good Eastern conference team.

The East were led by Lebron James who put up 36 points and helped the East come back from being down 18 points.  24 points and 10 rebounds for Dwyane Wade, 19 points for Carmelo Anthony.  Kobe Bryant suffered a broken nose during the game after he was fouled hard by Dwyane Wade.  No news if it will keep him on the sidelines at all, but he is expected to get more tests done on Monday.
