As we all know the Yankees have been on a bit of a slide as of late. Just a few short weeks ago the Bombers were well ahead of the pack in the AL East up 10 games. After last nights 4-3 loss to the Red Sox the Yankees are back tied with the Baltimore Orioles for first place. The Orioles look like they are for real and show no signs of  slowing down. Which Yankee will need to step it up to propel them into the playoffs and have success while there? Robinson Cano? The struggling Curtis Granderson? Or is it a starting pitcher in the shaky rotation like C.C. Sabathia?
