With the regular season just around the corner, the New York Yankees have finally set a rotation, for now.  Since Micheal Pineda went down with an injury, it pretty much made up the mind of manager Joe Girardi.  Obviously CC Sabathia will get the opening day start against Tampa Bay, and he will be followed by Hiroki Kuroda.

Girardi announced on Sunday morning that Phil Hughes would get the third spot in the rotation, and Ivan Nova the fourth.  So who rounds out this years Yankee pitching rotation?  Veteran pitcher Freddy Garcia.  This, of course, is all before Andy Pettitte is scheduled to come back in May, so the rotation is subject to change.

Giardi would add that Phil Hughes had the best Spring training of any of the mentioned starters.  That adds a bit of promise since last year was a disaster for Hughes.
