Joe Girardi continues to mix, match and rest his starting pitching. Up until late last night we had no idea who would take the mound for the Yankees tonight, we now know it's Chris Capuano. Yes the same guy who started the year on the disabled List and has an 0-4 record on the season. Before I begin to hyperventilate I will remind myself that rest this time of year in the heat of Texas is a good...NO great thing. So even though I expect next to nothing from Capuano tonight, I get why he's on the mound. I was really hoping to see Luis Severino but that was just wishful thinking.

Positive note for the game, the Yankees are 5-0 in their last 5 starts against lefties and Rangers lefty Martin Perez is on the mound tonight.
