The New York Comic Con was last weekend and the cosplayers really pulled out all the stops.

If you're not familiar with cosplay, it's basically adults (mostly) dressing up as their favorite superheroes, video game characters, and pop culture icons and then going to a big convention that celebrates all things geek.

I've been to a few comic cons and have actually helped build a few costumes so I know what it takes to make something amazing.
