49ers LB Patrick Willis Featured In Great Duracell Ad [VIDEO]

This commercial is extremely well done.  San Francisco 49ers lineback Patrick Willis is featured in an ad that takes a powerful look at his unique journey to the NFL.

Patrick Willis is one of the best linebackers in the National Football League. There are plenty of fans and NFL insiders that actually consider Patrick Willis to be the top linebacker in all of professional football. Willis was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers with the 11th overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. He hit the ground running when he was named AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He is a five-time Pro Bowl selection and has been named first-team All-Pro four times.

Willis had a tough childhood dealing with his father. An ESPN E:60 report (attached below) chronicles Willis’ unique situation. Knowing the backstory of Willis’ upbringing and how he had to deal with an abusive father makes this Duracell commercial much more impactful. Duracell was smart to launch this new “Trust Your Power” ad campaign by featuring Patrick Willis. He’s a perfect fit.
