Congratulations to Devils forward Bobby Butler, off his red hot last six games has been named the AHL player of the week for the period ending on December 16th.

The red hot right winger in three games scored six goals and added a game winning assist for the resurgent Devils, who have won five of their past six hockey games going into Wednesday night.

In one game alone vs Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Butler tied a franchise record with four goals and five total points in a 6-3 Devils win. In total Butler notched 10 points in his six game streak. Butler currently leads the team in goals, power play goals and game winning goals.

Butler is not new to scoring prowess. he was the MVP of the AHL all-star game in 2011 and helped Binghamton win the Calder Cup in 2010-2011. he spent all of last season in the NHL with Ottawa.

In one roster move made by the Devils they have loaned center Phil de Simone to the ECHL's Trenton team.
