I cannot believe that hockey is back. It just doesn't feel like it, but it is. The Albany Devils are back in the Capital Region this year for another season and they open up AHL play on Saturday against the Binghamton Senators.

We brought in Devils' broadcaster Josh Heller to talk about the team. Are they ready to go? Who's impressed in camp? Who are the guys the team will rely on?

Furthermore, Heller told us about how the new AHL realignment will affect the Devils. Several teams on the East coast have moved out West. Will that cause issues for Albany?

Next: This team is very young. It's much different than last year. How will that factor into the Devils' early season?

The Devils home opener is Oct. 24th at the Times Union Center. Two weeks on the road before playing at home? That doesn't seem quite right. We asked Heller about that too.
