When the New York Giants were shut out by the Tennessee Titans, all three New York NFL teams were officially eliminated from the playoffs. So What do we do now? Look ahead to the Draft? Look for the team that has some form of a local tie to rally behind? Jump on a bandwagon? There really aren't great options after your favorite team is booted, but I will try to give you a few storylines that might pique your interest in the NFL postseason picture.

Sundays (and Monday, Thursday and the occasional Saturday or Holiday) are all about football to most of us. Unfortunately, while everyone else is proudly wearing their team colors and talking about winning the Super Bowl, some of us are looking for something to care about. How about the Titans? Dion Lewis and his Tennessee Titans are still alive and the running back played his high school ball right here in the Capital Region. Texans linebacker Josh Keyes is from Chatham.

How about an all-time great QB that has never been to or won a Super Bowl? Philip Rivers has an impressive resume of on-field accomplishments over his 15-year career and has never been to the Super Bowl. He drafted in the same round as Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger who have two Super Bowl wins each. The Los Angeles Chargers could be worth watching.

If you're lucky enough to still have a team alive, congratulations and good luck...unless you're a Patriots' fan...you've won enough.
