Bart Scott chose the New York Jets as a free agent in 2009 when he signed with them over returning to the Baltimore Ravens. Does Scott think that current Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson should do the same thing if he gets the chance? Short answer is yes. Scott who you can hear every weekday from 1 pm to 3 pm right here on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio makes a pretty compelling argument for why Watson should waive his no trade clause and join "Gang Green" if the Jets and Texans are able to come to terms on a trade.

As many of us are looking at all the things the Jets are missing, Scott see a few things that make them pretty attractive. First thing Bart Scott likes is Joe Douglas, in Scott's opinion the Jets got it right when they hired Douglas and put him in charge. The next and possibly bigger selling point is true flexibility. The Jets have so much cap room that they can pretty much chase any free agents that Deshaun Watson wants on the team.
