Myles Garrett goes #1… but I have some doubts- Only two players dominated college football this year from start to finish: Alabama’s Jonathan Allen and Western Michigan’s WR Corey Davis. Why is Myles Garrett better than the Browns 2000 pick Courtney Brown? Hell, why is Myles Garrett even better than Ohio State’s Joey Bosa from last season? Garrett is a physical freak no doubt and his presence in a room alone may convince GM’s to take him #1 overall.

First QB off the board is Trubisky, Watson not far behind. Cleveland brought in Brock Osweiler and let RG3 hit the road. Is this another year where they use a second 1st round pick on a QB (Brandon Weeden, Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel). It seems likely with the need for the position and Trubisky being a home grown Ohio product that he is the guy. By the way Weeden, Quinn, and Manziel were WAY better in college than Trubisky. The UNC football was actually better in 2015 when Trubisky WASN’T THE STARTER! Somehow those important things get lost in the draft process discussion. My best comparison to Trubisky is Blaine Gabbert.

As for DeShaun Watson, Arizona seems like the right fit for him. The Cardinals franchise has drafted highly successful college quarterbacks before (Matt Leinart). A year or two behind Carson Palmer would be great for Watson. Watson was the #1 high school quarterback prospect in the country and sat behind Tajh Boyd for a year before becoming the starter at Clemson. My best comparison to a pro quarterback to Watson is a less accurate Eli Manning.

New York Teams: TE,WR, and LB: I have the Jets drafting OJ Howard. I understand the Jets history of tight ends has not been great. Howard was no doubt a productive player at Alabama and this seems like a “best player” available pick for Gang Green. The Bills could wait for a WR in round two but why? Get the best player and the biggest need for your team and that’s Clemson wide out Mike Williams. As for the Giants, I like Hasson Reddick linebacker from Temple. The defense is solid and the quality offensive lines that they could like (Ryan Ramcyzk and Cam Robinson) I do not believe will be in there spot when they draft.
