Normally when I hear that a food item is being pulled from store shelves I feel a pit in my stomach. I instantly assume it's whatever I ate at my most recent meal. This time there's no reason for you to worry about your health or avoid slapping some "KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce" on your brisket. This is more of a loyalty-based boycott than any kind of safety issue. However, attempting to serve any member of the Bills Mafia Kansas City BBQ this weekend could result in being power bombed through a flaming table.

The Buffalo Bills will play the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, a game you can hear on 104.5 The Team ESPN Radio. The fans in Buffalo lovingly known as the Bills Mafia are known as some of the most passionate and loyal fans in all of sports. So it's not a huge surprise that Bills fans would be willing to avoid anything that might show some sort of support to the upcoming opponent. I was a little shocked however when I saw FOX NEWS report that a Buffalo Supermarket chain was pulling KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce from its shelves until after the game.

"This is like a community effort, so we can all get together and help the Bills pull out that win on Sunday," said Tony Pacella, Dash’s director of operations.

I love this level of team pride! Bills Mafia is known for crazy tailgates, singing "The Bills make me wanna shout", donating to players from other teams charities and now banning condiments as a sign of solidarity! I guess the next question is will the Chiefs fans in Kansas City ban Buffalo Wings until Monday?
