As we continue preparing for the upcoming NFL season, the Buffalo Bills hold maybe the most hype regarding our regional teams of interest. After a disappointing early playoff exit last year, and Josh Allen officially turning 30 and having a child, it's clear it is now or never for a Super Bowl in Buffalo. The Bills, unlike the Giants or Jets, don't have any first round picks to break out this year, but they still have plenty of guys who can make a serious impact if they have a breakout year

DJ Moore

Finally, after two years without a true number one wide receiver since Stefon Diggs left, the Buffalo Bills gave Josh Allen a main target in DJ Moore. DJ initially broke out in Carolina with 3 straight 1,000 yard seasons, and had a career year with 1,364 yards and 8 touchdowns his first year in Chicago. But as more young wideouts were added to Chicago's roster, Moore's role in the offense began to decline. Following a career low in yards last season, it was clearly time for a fresh start. I'm expecting DJ to have another career year with by far the best quarterback he's ever had throwing him the football.

Maxwell Hairston

A first round pick out of Kentucky in 2025, Hairston had high expectations to become a lock down corner for the Bills defense. An injury ridden season saw him only play 11 games, but when he was out there you could see the potential. Now a year older and healthier, if this Buffalo defense wants to make a much needed step up, Hairston will have to lead the way in the secondary.

Joe Brady

I've never put a coach down as a potential breakout candidate before, but this one feels right. Brady is still a first year head coach with room to improve, but he's also worked with Josh Allen and this team for a number of years, and has a good grasp on what this team needs. If Joe Brady leads this team to the Super Bowl, or even has a chance for coach of the year, I'd consider that a breakout.
