ESPN is currently reporting that current New Orleans head coach Sean Payton has reached out to NFL legend Bill Parcells to fill in for him while he serves a one year suspension.

ESPN NFL analyst Chris Mortensen is reporting that Sean Payton has approached his former mentor Bill Parcells about coaching the New Orleans Saints in the 2012 season.  Payton will be serving his one year suspension beginning in April and the Saints will need someone to take over for him.  Perhaps the coach that helped turn Sean Payton into a Super Bowl champion coach would be a good replacement.

Payton and Parcells have spoken numerous times since Payton's suspension was handed down, but nothing has been confirmed by either party.  Payton is considering appealing his suspension, which could allow him to coach while it's being appealed.
