TORONTO (AP) — Jose Bautista launched a three-run homer, and the Toronto Blue Jays advanced to the American League Championship Series for the first time in 22 years by scoring four times in the seventh inning of a 6-3 triumph over the Texas Rangers. Elvis Andrus and Mitch Moreland combined to make errors on three consecutive plays in the seventh to load the bases before Josh Donaldson hit into a fielder's choice that scored the tying run. Bautista followed with a three-run blast, a 442-foot blast over the center field fence.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Johnny Cueto worked seven outstanding innings to pitch the Kansas City Royals to a 7-2 win over Houston and a berth in the American League Championship Series.
